One third of my vegetable garden, in progress of cleaning and bedding down for winter. Seen are garlic, onion, beet beds, with straggling chilis, nasturtiums, black mustard…the hill behind is one solid blackberry stand.

Eutin rose. We have to recall that many of our old tales relate that roses are beings with old, deep souls, often wrapping themselves around holy wells or areas of power. Also, give them due credit for weathering these new-fangled dry, hot summers.
